Ice Fishing Trip to Eagle River, WI, February 2003

In February of 2003 four good friends (Eric, Bryan, Corey, and Ed) ventured forth from Waupaca, Wisconsin and drove north 150 miles to Eagle River in the quest for a little adventure and relaxation. Read about our trip and click the thumbnails to see the larger images.

The good times continue. Looking at this photo is appears that Ed (standing on the right) is apparently standing so close to the flames that his socks have caught fire. He does not appear to mind.

Four guys, 1/2 cord of wood, 40 gallons of gas, groceries, lodging, a 3 hour drive each way and 1 fish; was it worth it?- you bet! Just like hunting, it's not always the end result that matters, but the journey along the way.
